New Patient Appointment
Being well-prepared for your appointment will ensure that your Podiatrist has all the information needed to provide you with the best possible care. This will allow us to help you get the best results in the shortest time.
For some, it can feel a little awkward coming to see any medical professional, particularly if you’ve got a problem that’s considered a little embarrasing!
Trust us – we’ve seen it before!!
What’s included in the New Patient Assessment:
Professional advice about your foot problem
Treatment where appropriate
vascular & Neurological assessment
Joint assessment
Nail conditions
General health of feet
Infections
Gait, Stance and footwear examination where appropriate
What to bring to your Podiatry Appointment
Please bring anything to your appointment that you feel may assist with your diagnosis and assessment. This may include:
lists of medication, which we require for our records
Footwear that you use regularly
Test results or imaging reports
Referral letter if appropriate
We recommend that you wear loose, comfortable clothing. This is particularly important if attending for a Biomechanics assessment.
A couple of days before your appointment you will receive a text message or email reminder about your appointment. Please feel free to contact us for confirmation if you have not received a reminder.
Please note that children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Our Cancellation Policy
Your ideal treatment outcome depends on maintaining the ideal management plan. If you need to change or reschedule an appointment, please allow us 24 hours notice to organise care for somebody else in that time. If you are unable to do so, there will be a late notice appointment fee
